it's the end of the world, but it's too late for anyone to do anything. no one is safe. there's no where to run. there's no where to hide. we're all going to die.

it's January 6th 2035, a girl is getting onto her school bus, there are no empty seats, apart from one next to a boy, she sits down next to him as he looks out the window with his headphones on, he doesn't notice her. a weather forecast pops up on her phone, saying that there will be many terrible storms coming. The girl seems a little worried but shrugs it off just thinking that the news is over-exaggerating again. the bus stops, why have they stopped? A huge bolt of lightning strikes the school bus setting it on fire; the boy and the girl are the only survivor's. with dirt, ashes, blood and scars all over the two, as they fight together for survival. Their once beautiful home crumbles before their very own eyes.All Rights Reserved

Not only have I never seen him before in my life but everyone in our town always wears nice clean and washed clothes, therefore nobody should be looking like him. The boy has a small cut on his cheek and is thin, a lot thinner than he should be. I look away from him and around at my surroundings, there is no one else here. I regain my composure and look at him again. That's when he says something that makes my blood run cold. "Run."

They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed.
