My name is Ayla and this is my story.
I make a bee line in the direction of the smell, running, trying to get to him. I accidentally run into something. But I realize that these sparks that I feel as I hit the ground could only mean one thing. As my eyes find his and I stop moving. I feel complete. I was mated to our future alpha, Andrew Halen. Then all my hopes come to an end when I see his facial expression. Confused and, disappointed. All I can think is 'I knew it' as he says the words I never wished to hear. I was prepared for this and I know I am stronger than any rejection, so I stand tall and I look right into his eyes, a sign of disrespect. Even though I know why he rejected me because I can hear his wolf screaming in his head, I ask him, "Why?" My face devoid of emotions
