Kaveh smiled a little at the question, almost letting out a chuckle, "You're being awfully nice." He says as his voice trails off at the last words. "Should I be concerned?" "Shut up Kaveh, I'm just being a good person here. Unless you don't want me to stay here with you and comfort you, I can leave." Alhaitham scoffs and pulls his arm away. Kaveh is quick to pull his arm back and look up at his junior while his chin was resting on his chest, "I don't know what happened to you, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts." Al-Haitham hums, sitting back in his seat. His eyes get that look they always do when he's thinking- at least that had stayed the same- before he put his hands in his pockets. "You can stay with me, if you'd like," he says all too casually as he pulls a hand back out his pocket. "For the time being," he adds on a little too quickly, "until you manage to get yourself out of the mess you've made." Kaveh was about to open his mouth to protest. Like he'd ever take an offer from him, especially with that attitude. Kaveh, a year 2 college student who rented out an apartment with another person, he had no idea that this person would be his old high school "friend", Alhaitham. They weren't friends then but after years they surely would have to become friends now since they live together, or they could become more then roommates.
