This is a fanfic on Land of the Lustrous for an oc of mine: Rubellite Tourmaline.
Taking place before the birth of Phosphophyllite, Rube finally wakes up from his nap since just before the loss of Red Diamond. Rubellite is now tasked with understanding this new world, meeting everyone in the school, along with understanding and protecting them. 

Side note: Rube is more or less meant to be an influencer for the rest of the gems as they age.
