As soon as she lifted her head out of the curtsy her breath caught in her throat. Klaus. Her hand twitched slightly wanting to reach out to touch him. Their eyes locked and time seemed to stand still. He was so beautiful it almost hurt. His eyes were set pressed together without emotion not wanting to look weak in front of Mikael. She knew the look all to well.
