In Junior year, Aurora dated a guy named Nathan. She really liked him too, but he didn't seem to show that he likes her but she knows he does because he tells her everyday. He would whisper sweet nothings in her ear. On the very last day of school, he broke her heart. He dumped her in front of everybody, which is so humiliating. She almost burst into tears right in front of everyone, but she keep a straight face and ran away to her car. She cried as soon as she slammed her car door shut, he didn't even give her a reason as to why he did it.
It's now Senior year, in the middle of winter. Nathan still hasn't told her why. Aurora has been avoiding Nathan since the beginning, but it has not been working. He has Math, Science, Social Studies, and English with Aurora which sucks. Nathan hasn't even tried to tell her why he broke her heart, like he didn't even care in the first place.

She lives with her brother who is her twin in a apartment. She and Aaron wanted to live alone because of their mom, Donna, she is getting married to a bastard, Steve.
Nathan on the other hand, is a popular football player, who hangs out with his friends. And, no Nathan is not one of the football players who are snotty and is not a bully. He is outgoing to everyone but also a little shy on the inside.
Anyway, Aurora and the rest of the Seniors must decide which college they want to go to at an assembly, at which Nathan accidently sits next to Aurora. Aurora was called on to share her college, so now Nathan knows what college she is going to which is far away from their town. Will Nathan tell her why he broke her before it's to late?
