Scarlet is a good natured , lovely, intelligent girl. Throughout high school, she didn't mind being locked in the library studying. She wanted a better life for herself and was willing to make all the sacrifices to get it. She had her best friend by her side who never cared about her lack of wealth and was the family that Scarlet didn't have. Everything went as expected and she got into the most elite private schools.
