The journals of a feudal lord in a time after our own.  Young Lord Danjoir, an exile from the land of Smarat, works hard for the people he has been put lord of.  When the King calls together all of his land holding Lords for a ball Danjior plans on using the event gain resources from his Majesty. However this event is not all that it appears on the surface and at the reveal that the princess shall choose one of the attending Lords to be her betrothed, Danjoir's plans will have to wait.
