This is a Fanfiction written based off the Mortal Instruments series. I do not own any of these characters.
What if Valentine never made Jonathan the way he was? What if, Clary and Jace were the only special ones? What would happen if Valentine kept Jace away from Clary, up until his death. When Valentine suddenly dies, Jace and Clary meet at his funeral. Clary never thought she could meet someone so beautiful. But Jonathan, driven by jealousy, tries to keep Clary away from him. Jonathan should've been the special boy, not Jace. Will Jonathan over come his jealously, will Clary fall for the mysterious boy?

I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness. When I finally up she says, "I have cursed you. When you leave this house it will be the day of your sixteenth birthday again but this time Simon won't remember you and neither will your other friends especially your lover, Jace. If you get close to them then they will all die after a year. No other warlock can reverse this spell." Clary gets cursed one night by a certain vengeful warlock.
