When Shaye Hollow is assigned to write a personal essay on "Beauty and the Beast," she never expected to run into her own beast. Blaze Kingsley is a rich boy with an attitude who must prove to his grandmother that he deserves his inheritance. His mission is to make someone fall in love with him, but the process requires him to change his Hollywood good looks into a scarred, two-toned skin, bad haircut-everyday type of appearance. As a result, he must make someone fall in love with him solely because of his personality, which may prove to be harder than it seems. He ultimately chooses Shaye as a potential beauty, but will she fall for him or only find the beast within? Will she ever realize that she might be the beauty of her own fairytale? She also starts to realize maybe the king is not as big of a monster as she thought. Even though most of Greyson is beautiful, something evil is lurking.
