Let me bring you up to speed, the parent who is clearly forcing an unplanned and highly unnecessary trip on their child....... That's my Mom. And the poor child who is so undeserving of this trip and has absolutely nothing wrong with her at all......... well, that's me

"There is something wrong," I didn't realize I was staring until she turned and stared at me as well. "So you two having a staring contest?" Jacob rolled his eyes. "And yes Iris like I just said point 3 seconds ago there is something wrong. Of course there's something wrong. Why wouldn't there be something wrong?" His voice raising as I came back to earth and looked at him. "This place is bullshit and is just bullshitting me with all these bullshit drugs telling me their bullshit will help me get better when I'm not even sick!" He gasped. "I've been here just for a few months and I'm going to die. I've only seen the sun like ten times! Ten times. No wonder everbody in here is turning pale and gross. My TAN IS GONE. I'm a fucking snowman. Look how WHITE I AM!" He exclaimed. A few nearby people looked over along with their doctors. ~~~~~~~~~~ Iris Thomson was just a normal girl. Until she turned four years old, from then every night she'd be visited by a monster named the nightcrawler. It would physically hurt her and nobody else would ever see it but her. A general rule of thumb for any type of story telling media is to not have more than five main characters. Often, these five are separated into categories, the leader, the smart one, the hothead, the Woman, and finally, the dumb one. While the others are given chances to express their talents and skills in carefully planned arcs, the dumb one is often neglected. No, the dumb one is meant to entertain, he makes a mistake and you are to laugh at it. He is not allowed to have a moment of realization, not given the chance to prove himself, not allowed to be more than the dumb one. A joke. The unwilling jester meant to make his blind peers look smarter, clever, at the expense of his pride and shame. Michelangelo, youngest ninja turtle, is Doing Just Fine. He means it. The teasing words of his brothers doesn't feel like scalding water against his skin, thank you very much. He Doesn't feel hurt when they brush him off as childish and immature, when they refuse to listen. And he Absolutely Does Not need any help because he doesn't have any problems. He doesn't feel bad. He doesn't really feel anything at all. Mikey can't exactly say there's anything wrong when he can't identify it, but how can he ignore his inner world falling to pieces and his mental health declining? Well, apparently the kid on the computer can relate to that.
