when my father turned cruel at the absence of his mate and directed that hatred at his children I told myself that when I was to become king I would take a wife and refuse my fated mate, I would never allow one person to have so much power over me, that their absence would cause the downfall of my family as well as the entire dragon race, even if that mean I could never sire children of my own

when I was younger my brother told me storys of our family, told me the history of what we did before our downfall, I was always intrigued about where we came from and how we fell so far but my ancestors weren't the only ones who made sacrifices in order for me to be here today,if it wasn't for my brother saving me before my own family had me killed as an newborn I would never have had the opportunity to bring my family name to greatness and take revenge on the very people who pushed my family to the point where they had to kill any females in order to never fear being caught .
