What once was a steel city is nothing more than a wasteland. Buildings had been reduced to piles of ash and rubble. The beautiful view of hope it used to give to millions was now a view of terror, warning those of the future what the past had done. A yellow sky dawned the earth once the nuclear winter had ended. Light shined down on the once thriving and lively city to reveal shadows of people on the street and remnants of walls. A shadow of what used to be. A husk.
23 is forced to live as a brutal assistant to one of the authoritative oligarchs in his apocalyptic city, dubbed the "Steel City." Will he be able to set aside his humanity for his own survival? Or will he end up different from everyone else in the system.
