Long before, modernized society human villages were tucked away into the woods. But man was not the only thing living in the woods. Shifters dwelled in the forest. Monstrous creatures who could turn to creatures of any form. 

In a human village, lived Nyx. She was but a meer slave. Never to know any freedom. Nyx was ignorant to world around her. Ignorant to magic, shapeshifters and spells. I struggled, but that's when I realised, I'm too short to ram my head into his chin, my arms were held down and my legs completely useless. I. Was.
