You lived two lives in the Underground: one as yourself, and the other, as a notorious bandit under the alias "Laverna." However, after a crucial mistake forced a robbery awry, you have a run-in with the infamous Levi Ackerman, and the two of you work closely with one another.
In the meanwhile, your other life is catching up with you. As prices begin to climb, you're forced to steal more than you used to, and your family is getting more suspicious of your bad habits...
But it all comes to a halt.
Your father informs you that he made a deal- one in which you and your family is moved to the Surface, completely free of charge... but the catch? You train with the Cadets in order to join the Survey Corps, who are desperate to maintain their rapidly-declining number of troops.
You don't have the option to decline.
Several years later, while you serve humanity as a Scout, you're convinced that you've seen the last of your life as "Laverna..."
