An isolated genderqueer high schooler who was suddenly granted the powers of psychokinesis a couple of days after their mother, Sarah Branson finally broke the news of their beloved Grams dying of a stroke in her home. Having to meet with a lawyer to discuss Gertrude Willows' will and her funeral arrangements, the family moved out west from their home in Houston, Texas to a rambunctious town known as Santa Carla. A famous town for being the murder capital of the world.
Unknown to the fact that they're not the only new family in town, nor the ever growing population of punk vampires.

Will the untrained witch's new psychokinetic gifts be enough to protect her family from the onslaught of creatures of the night or will it only put a target on her head to become the newest recruit into a certain rowdy bunch of vampires who are curious about her craft?

- I do not own any of the characters of the Lost Boys or their storylines, only that of Sage's and her family-

Taken away from his family at a young age, Burt was sent away to a lab and experimented on. During all these tests, he slowly lost his sanity along with his human traits. He began to eat human flesh and indulged more with his animalistic side. However, sometimes bits of his human side would seep through and he would get painful headaches. The headaches were actually just his brain trying to help him figure out what his past life was like, however, he was quickly dealt with whenever he had a.. headache. One day, he went ballistic and went on a rampage, killing everyone in his path. He broke out of the laboratory and ran away into the woods. Now he was cold, tired, hungry, and trying to figure out who he was and what his old life was like. With his father gone, Matthew Samuels struggled with his mental and physical health. His mom's boyfriend, Joseph, wasn't much of a help either. With only a few more weeks of summer left, Matthew just wanted to make the most out of it. However, during a camping trip, they came across a lost boy who went by the name, "Rickey." While Matthew was suspicious of this boy and his origin, his mother immediately insisted they took him in because of his frail figure. Little did they know just how much trouble they would put themselves in from that point on. Will Burt and Matthew be able to help each other face their inner demons and escape the labyrinth in their minds that's been holding them captive for too long, or will they die trying or kill everyone in the process?

"Rise up! *You were born for such a time as this." However the recent abandonment by their mother in death and their father in grief has left them struggling as they've been thrust into adulthood overnight. The world desperately needs them. Will they stop bickering and worrying about boys, fashion and proms long enough to save the day? *Esther 4:4 Gifts: Baby in the corner Beth (19) has the ability to draw her heart's desires. She thinks it's only while using her big box of 64 crayons. She doesn't realize the power is in her mind's eye and not her writing implements. Jo (20) can teleport. Of course she doesn't always stick her landings. At first her landings are as messy as is her life. She's lost her mother, her family home, her faith and now thinks she may be losing her mind. Supercilious self-absorbed Amy (17) has the uncanny ability to get others to do what she wants. She says, ever so sweetly, "I'd prefer..." Dad always called it "wrapping others around her little finger syndrome." If she wanted she could ask a perfect stranger to hand over his car keys and he'd have to oblige. The oldest sister Meg (21) has dreams and visions about the world's near future. She's also very intuitive. Perhaps if she were better at seeing her own future maybe her personal life wouldn't be in shambles?

She was everything her siblings weren't; quiet and shy. But her world is turned upside down when a simple apology turns into something more. They were a lot smarter than her brothers first thought and now they were all stuck with the consequences. As Grandpa always said 'One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach: all the damn vampires'. [Lost boys/OC] my story can also be found on fanfiction and archive under sue_me_ann.
