"No one knows what was done to me this summer. And no one will ever find out. They wouldn't understand... My own parents don't even understand... No one knows and no one saw.... or so I thought." Iyana Bright is a 17 year old, high school girl who goes through a horrifically violent experience during her summer break, but a spiked drink leaves her memory in a haze. Through the new school year as a senior, she deals with bouts of PTSD, anxiety, and depression as the memories of her ordeal haunt her every waking moment. Until the new girl, Juliana "Jules" Allen; who also happens to be her next door neighbor, enters her life. Jules, also a 17 year old senior, has demons of her own to fight. With no mother in the picture, a suspiciously angsty college brother, and an abusive father who can't keep his anger in check, she carries a little secret of her own that could either make or break Iyana's traumatic grief. What will these two find waiting at the end of their journey; one happy ending... or an ending for one?
