Viel was a loner, quiet, withdrawn, and strange in the eyes of others. He was relentlessly bullied for his appearance and the way people judged him, but he endured it silently. Until one day, the bullying took a horrifying turn: they killed his beloved pet, Archie, the only thing he had left in the world. Broken and on the brink of death, Viel thought it was the end.
