What if the hate in your heart made you eligible to be a warrior of the ocean?

After the death of their best friend Jason, Cold and Nate spiral into a pit of despair and hatred. Cold, battling depression and suicidality, and Nate, crippling guilt and self-hatred. When their coping methods become their undoing, Cold's hatred for her late best friend and will die, and Nate's violent breakdown as his self-hatred overrides him, take them to the ocean. The spirit of the ocean, who was thought to be an old Aurelian folklore, makes promises of bliss if they become her warriors in the battle against the hunters.

Accepting her deal, vengeful teenagers turned vicious creatures of the ocean, Cold and Nate, join other creatures of the ocean to find the vessel that holds the key to taking Aurelia back from the notorious hunters, led by the descendant of the Knight that destroyed the spirit of the ocean.
