It has been almost a decade since Evelyn Relm defeated Ranrok and hid the ancient magic, within herself. She's worked hard to keep that part of herself as quiet as she could, getting a job working at Ollivander's Wand Shop so that she may slowly distribute the magic she holds into her craftsman ship, sharing it with the Hogwarts Community one wand at a time. The ancient magic stirs within her bones, gnawing at her sanity constantly and only ever seemed to ease when she was creating - so that's exactly what she did.
Only when an old friend returns to Hogwarts, confessing that life in the castle and community has started to become more and more restless throughout the years instead of becoming quieter and safer than what Evelyn had originally thought, does she consider facing the parts of herself that she has spent so much time burying. She quickly realizes that she must once again meet face to face with a darkness that stares back.
