His heart begins to beat again and marshal freaks out, the new constant thrumming in his chest giving him head aches and causing him immense pain and confusion. He is completely confused and isolates himself from the world, but gumball, since their rekindled friendship, begins to grow worried, having not seen Marshal in a while. One night, Marshal visits him, and nearly collapses in pain. Not knowing what to do he brings him to the and kingdom hospital. They don't know whats wrong with him so they kick him out, Gumball ends up bringing Marshal to His castle and tries to care for him But since Marshal now has feelings for Gumball, his revived heart beats faster. Gumball had asked him on multiple occasions what was wrong, but all he got in response was "it hurts" and after Gumball comes and sits next to Marshal, he hears marshal saying that the pulsing got faster. Asking where it was, and finding out it was his heart, he is shocked. Etc etc etc.Complete

Imagine, just for a second, let's imagine you end up somehow travelling into your favourite book. Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). And you find yourself literally dropped into the lap of a psychopathic rival who enjoys just a teeny bit of bloodshed. He's also the guy who killed your favourite character and not to mention you. But then you hold on for a second because you realise you're not dead and he wants to use you as an immortal tool to sharpen his aim. Well that's the story I ended up living in.
