These stories I'm about to share come from the real accounts of those who work on the North western railway numbered 1-7. These peoples stories follow their journey before and while working on the railway, from its early days to where it is now.

The man stooped a bit, leaning close to her and taking the seatbelt from her hands. He was holding eye contact and Lyla felt herself grow amused as she stared back at him. He was going to start buckling her up before someone cleared their throat loudly. They both looked up to meet Reeds' blue-green eyes. ''I think I can help my wife, thank you,'' he said. Lyla's eyebrows shot up. The dude barely talked to her and he was already getting possessive? How does that even add up? Reeds stopped taking the two parts of the seat belt in his hands, ''you couldn't do this without help?'' he muttered to her savagely. Lyla glared at him, before he could even get the belt close to her she took it from his hands and snapped it in the right place. She gave him a sickly sweet smile and Reeds simply scoffed and walked to his seat. The rest of the plane ride was quiet. One would think after that small exchange they would start having some kind of conversation. Wrong. ___________________ This isn't a cliche story where the girl falls for the guy by a simply little gaze. She's stubborn, she's maybe a little relatable, and she's assertive. But she didn't think she was for him. Lyla Vell; the name itself oozed the confidence which was her, and Ryersoon Reeds? Two words to describe him: Arrogant and plain painful. And when these two personalities are in an arranged marriage. Shit about to go down. ___ This is my first Wattpad story. Hope you'll like it! This entire story is NOT mature. Only the last few chapters are and you can still finish the plot without reading those few mature chapters. For those who are hesitant to read the story because it is tagged mature, I'm promising you only the last few chapters are mature, you can read chapters 1-19 without any disturbance of smut. More and more steam engines have been trying to escape to Thesang in order to survive the purge that is happening on the mainland. Whilst all this chaos is happening, Gordon feels the biggest pressure of all, with being demanded and pressured by control personally, he is being ripped apart inside. However, with the right engines around him, some he never expected to have. Gordon is seen as the only engine to save the remaining survivors of steam. Read this final adventure of this trilogy by seeing Gordon go through shock, torture and pain which will leave him as the shining hero to all engines of the UK.

Wildflowers In The Ruins: A 1917 Story by Snowdropsdream

Completed fan fiction for the film 1917: This is the very first fan fiction I've ever attempted. Please be kind. I hope you like it. It features all of the main characters, several of the others, plus many I've created. Northern France, April 1917: A Voluntary Aid Detachment nurse is sent on an urgent mission across no-man's land accompanying two Lance Corporals, but she will have her own mission to fullfil also and be tested in ways she never deemed possible. Each chapter is named after a flower, relevant to the story, and that you can encounter growing in the wild, either in Britain or Northern France, with the exception of roses and Sweet William's. This story does contain spoilers from the film so it's really worth watching it first. Chapers two (from around halfway through) to eight I've taken directly from the film. The script is copyrighted to Sam Mendes and Krysty Wilson-Cairns, although I've worked from what's spoken in the film rather than off the script. I've taken inspiration from other films, television and books (fiction and non-fiction) set in the First World War too such as Forgotten Voices, The Roses Of No-Man's Land, War Horse, The Crimson Field, Private Peaceful, They Shall Not Grow Old, Testament Of Youth, Journey's End and Birdsong. I've also taken inspiration from the beautiful book A Song For Will which is based on the true story of the gardeners and labourers from the Heligan Estate in Cornwall. Every character who isn't featured in the film 1917 is fictitious and the names are entirely made-up, although every female character's Christian name in my story belongs to a female relative of mine who was alive at the time of the First World War, for example my four Great-grandmothers were Mary-Jane, Lavinia, Ada and Alice. Some time has passed since Thomas and TFC return from London,Sodor have been throught a lot of changes over the years,The N.W.R have made improviments over the years with technology,areas have been extended and places were build,like a conteiner yard in a old yard south of Tidmouth,and new engines have arrived over the years,as well as some old friends,join Thomas and his friends in this new series of adventures on the Island of Sodor. (Just to clarify,the images used in this fanfic do not belong to me,it belong to it's creators,so is Thomas in general,every credits goes to it's respectful creators). (Also,events like TATMR,Day of The Diesels,Big World,Big Adventure movie and it's season are canon,but they happen very diferently then the original).
