In this world, humans have evolved and a new species have formed: the elites. These elites consist of Alphas, and omegas. Both contain enhanced abilities - strength, senses, intelligence, etc. Alphas and omegas have certain pheromones that only the other can sense, making common humans oblivious. No matter the gender, all omegas have wombs in order to carry on this species - however they don't usually form until the age of 18. Alphas and omegas can be with common humans, however being able to have children is extremely rare. If a half breed IS conceived, the child more than likely infertile.

In this story, we meet 19 year old college student Alystaire Verlice - an omega who was orphaned as a baby. His father owed money to a powerful organization, and as a consequence for being unable to pay it back, the organization slaughtered him and his mate. Before anyone arrived, however, Alystaire's mother was able to hide him beneath a loose floor board.

Despite the tragedy, Alystaire was found days later by some neighbors who took him in and raised him as their own. Although, that didn't save him from his birth father's crushing debt. This is how he meets Deklan Hinode - a 24 year old alpha who is the current leader of the Hinode family organization.

Stressful times, life wrecking tragedy and merciless killings - will these events push the two together? Or rip them apart further?
