All seasons of Inanimate insanity are over, and with the weight of the shows gone, things are normal and everyone is living a not al life- or at least that's what they think. Things start to go wrong when Mephone is killed. Everything descends into chaos, death now being a risk. How many of our former contestants can survive this robotic apocalypse?

‼️⚠️THIS FANFICTION WAS THOUGHT OUT ABOUT AND MADE BEFORE THE NEW INANIMATE INSANITY SEASON 2 EPISODES, THIS FANFICTION FEATURES SOMETHINGS THAT CONTRADICT SOME OF THE CANNON STORY (Just pretend any episode that takes place after season 3 doesn't exist for this one)⚠️‼️ Everything is going fine in Hotel OJ. Inanimate Insanity Invitational had just concluded, so now everyone is back at the hotel, even the remaining season 2 contestants who are waiting for MePhone to resume the season (not the season 3 newbies though, but some could possibly make a cameo *wink* *wink*). One day, OJ has to leave for a month to have time with his family and puts Paper in charge. But little does OJ know, Evil Paper is ready for his comeback. TW: Violence, gore, a little bit of swearing, some ships, and probably some phobia triggers. (Also, apologies if I ever mischaracterize any characters in this story. I'm mainly doing this stuff because I can, but I'm really trying my hardest to be as cannon as I possibly can personality wise.) By the way, the entire story will be strictly in 3rd person. What Lies Underneath (An Inanimate Insanity Fanfic)
(Humanized AU that sets before season 3) Timothy (toilet) is starting 9th grade at Inanimate Insanity high after having changed himself during the summer. For one, he's got into gadgets & become a decent professional at them. As of now though, life couldn't get better! Yeah, he hasn't had the best few years because of a toxic "friendship" with Michael 4 (Mephone 4), but this year couldn't get any worse either. For instance, he's seemed to learn of a new & not-so-popular trio along with someone else that Timothy can't seem to put his finger on. Heck, he's even starting to reconnect with Matt (Mepad) after a few good years apart! So far, this year might not be as bad as he originally thought. However, when he learns about an unknown student almost no one has heard of, he doesn't realize that his life is about to change for the worse. The objects inside have never seen the outside world, and are tested on. They are killed and recovered, day after day, and they do not know why they are forced to endure this. But truth lies in someone they have always known. There is a way out. (This is an Inanimate Insanity Season 2 AU) (Also the characters have animalistic traits such as fur, tails, paws, claws, ect. If you don't like that then don't read this I guess.)
