Serena Walters, daughter of the infamous Richard Walters, who seems to own every piece of land in Cousins, has been venturing off to the Fisher's beach house since she can remember. Since her father went off on business trips in the summer, and her mother shortly followed a few years behind, she was left staying at the house each summer alone with the other families. Her mother, Madeline, had grown up alongside Susannah and Laurel, was stuck to their side through high school and college, and practically dragged her family there each summer. That is, until, she couldn't trust Richard at those trips after an endeavor with a younger partner at the company. In midst of the emotional time, for Serena, this means: Parties. Boys. Adventures. Swimming. Shopping. Although, something was different this summer. Maybe it was the boys, the overpowering smell of salt in the air, or the way everyones stares lingered or remained on her. Surely, something was different than the last.
