Five years ago, Wally West retired as Kid Flash, the sidekick to the Scarlet Speedster himself, Flash. He was hoping to live a normal life. But now, tragedy has struck. The Joker tricked Superman into killing his wife Lois, and destroyed all of Metropolis. One of the many casualties in Joker's heinous massacre was Barry Allen, the original Flash. Now Central City is without its scarlet clad guardian. Now Wally must cope with the death of his best friend Dick Grayson and must honor the memory of his fallen mentor by taking on the mantle of The Flash. Can Wally live up to the legacy left behind by his uncle? And will Central City welcome this new Flash?
If you haven't figured it out, this takes place in the continuity of the movie adaptation, and not the video game and comic book tie in.

My way of how it could all end, Barry thinks he made a mistake in leaving him alive. Now that she is gone he thinks he must solve this alone, no one would understand him since they never lived what he lived before, maybe a few people may know what he felt but never understand him. Now Barry will leave his good side and all the right things he was known for to go to the opposite side, it will be time for him to discover what is like to be corrupted by anger and hate. In the end, only one of them will come out alive and the fight will be relentless.
