Sano Manjiro and Ryuguji Ken were fifteen years old in 1982 when "Thriller" was released. After almost three years of release, in 1985, the album was still at the top of the charts, on the radio, and, consequently, in Manjiro's mind. He could even be considered Michael Jackson's biggest fan and even created the nickname "Mikey" for himself in honor of his all-time favorite singer.

Ken also loved Michael's music since when the icon was part of the group The Jackson 5, however, a certain song on the album was making Ryuguji angry, or rather, it was making him embarrassed.
