Red String of fate AU
A magical connection between soulmates that has existed ever since the beginning of time. It ensures that the soulmates find each other at the right time and keeps them bonded. The soulmates need to touch each other i.e maintain skin contact as much as possible in order to maintain the energy levels in their body.
Kim Taehyung is an idol member of the world-famous boy band BTS. Hailed as the most handsome man in the world, extremely talented and hardworking, and passionate about his career. Caring for his members even though he is the second youngest has no time to even breath due his hectic idol life.
Meera is an ordinary girl from India. (You can imagine whicever country suits you best. This is for the sake of inclusion and also because I live here and can write the character better.) She is an engineering student and living a peaceful life. What happens when one day she finds Kim Taehyung standing at her door, the Red string of fate connecting them? Her life turns into chaos. Let me take you on a journey of a love story with a twist of magical fate.

This story is inspired by the Chinese mythology of the Red string of fate. I had it planned in my head since lockdown but only got around to writing it after I read fanfiction from author fallencairns on AO3 and got inspired by it. The writer in turn was inspired and used the concept of skin contact recharge/healing from some other author. So I acknowledge and credit the idea/ concept to the original creator.
