Twenty-six year-old Dahlia Barlowe is nearing the holidays, ready to deliver the family another plate of disappointment for the fifth year in a row while her siblings continue to hog all of the success and their parents approval. Her older brother is married to a beautiful model and works for a top law firm. Her older sister is engaged to a Marine and sits comfortably as the Chief of Surgery for the hospital she works for. But as for Dahlia-incomparable. Small acting roles and the single life isn't enough. She wasn't going to be the disappointment this year, at least so she hoped. She's gone above and beyond her true character to impress her parents, but to her dismay, she fails every time. She wasn't going to this time. If anything, she was going to be the talk beyond her parents and siblings, because the one and only Pedro Pascal was going to be standing on her parents doorstep. He still has a part to play. He's used to acting in front of cameras, but never did he imagine to play some strange woman's boyfriend in the real world.
