Living with a single mom and a brother
that seems to fight with my mother to often. I fear that one day he'll leave and I would be alone. My mom is a maid at the "Hamilton Hotel". She has to work long hours if she want to pay the rent.
Sometime I feel that she expects to much for me. She fears for my future. I'm expected to go to Harvard, Princeton, etc. I just know that I'm not good enough to do all that. My dad is a different story. One day my brother and I heard yelling at 2am in the morning. We snuck over to see what had happened but all we saw was my mom laying in bed with my dad gone. I'm a tough girl I must admit. I don't get push around. I say what I feel.
