I ran around the tree, running as fast as I could. Right as I stopped to catch my breath, I felt two hands grab me from behind. "Your it!" He yelled. I giggled, my heart racing and my cheeks flushed. "We should take a break," I said. He nodded in agreement, and then raised an eyebrow. I knew what he was thinking. Before he could say the next words, I bolted off. "Hey!" He yelled from behind, trying to catch up.     When I thought I for sure had the lead, I slowed down, only to see him dash past me. I stared in awe for a moment before realizing he was winning. I looked ahead, making sure it was only another few steps, and began to sprint as fast as I could. Right before we reached our destination, I took the lead, smirking at his disbelief. "I win!" I yelled, stopping right before I hit the tree. He bent over, holding his knees. Once we had both caught our breath, we climbed the chairy tree. Both choosing a branch at the very top. "What's your problem?" He asks darkly. "What's your problem?" I spit back. "Why do you keep following me?" He hisses. "I don't follow you!" I shout back. "Then how come where ever I go you end up going or being there?" He questions in a raised voice. "Its a coincidence." I say back in the same tone. He then moves forward towards me, and I take a step back but my back hits the brick wall. He puts his arms up his palms against the wall caging me in looking into my eyes. I won't look at him though, I look to the ground scared. "Just leave me alone...stay away." He whispers in my ear before he walks away to his car with his head down. -- When Dylan accidentally bumps into Mason in school things change. Dylan isn't scared away from him, or the rumors about him. She wonders about him, and what is up with him. When Mason decides Dylan needs to stay away from him he can't seem to keep it that way. He has a weird need to protect her... From everything. Which means finding out about her past... Will he soften up around her, or keep is bad boy dangerous ways? What happened when his fighting life comes into his normal life? What will happen when they find out about Dylan? Will Mason be able to keep her safe? Or will his boss find a way to keep him fighting?
