The year is 2000, and a teenage Misato Katsuragi is accompanying her father to an Antarctica expedition. Things quickly go south when an ancient creature awakens, causing a cataclysmic event that wipes out half of humanity. With the world collapsing around her, a traumatized Misato has to confront her inner demons and learn the true meaning of heroism in the face of impossible odds to survive.
This is a work of fiction inspired by Hideaki Anno's Neon Genesis Evangelion.
