It's hard when you miss people, but, you know, if you miss them it means you were lucky, it means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing. I had someone like that once, someone I adored with every fiber in my body she meant more to me than anybody else would. She was my rock, my world, my heart in the shape of a person. I had her my whole life, I have known her forever and just like that she was here yesterday and gone today. I am left with thousand moments that I had taken for granted, mostly because I had assumed there would be thousand more. I never thought that when I fell asleep that night, I would wake up and she would be gone forever.
The Arrangement
Coming back home after 8 years with my parents or any family member that is, not knowing the reason for my urgent departure on my matric dance (prom) night, i thought they'd be happy to see me even with my big little surprise. I'd planned how introductions and such would happen. Oh but what i didn't plan for was my surprise...
