Chris Cerulli met Naomi Shannon in 2012 on Motionless in White's American Infamous Tour. She was, at the time, doing merch for Stick to Your Guns, and the two of them hit it off immediately. You could easily say that Chris fell in love with Naomi the minute he first laid eyes on her; but Naomi remained completely oblivious to it, even as their friendship grew. Three and a half years later, Chris and Naomi have remained great friends. Naomi had since stopped doing merch and just sort of drifted from place to place - including crashing with Chris when she came into town. Now, however, she's looking to stay in one place for a while; and when Chris informs her that his roommate has moved out, Naomi sees her opportunity. Chris takes Naomi in with open arms, still hopelessly in love with her. He feared telling her his true feelings, out of fear that she wouldn't feel the same and that it would ruin the great friendship that they already had. And so, he continued to watch Naomi live and move on with her life, unaware that her roommate had such strong feelings for her. But what happens when secrets from Naomi's life begin to affect Chris, and he sees no other choice but to help her? Fatal: Part 1 (The First Snow)
All through high school, Chris Cerulli was seen as a misfit; an outcast. However, he still had his friends, his band, and his girlfriend. He was ordinary. He lived a fairly normal life that a fairly normal teenager would typically live. The only thing he ever really worried about was if his parents could stop arguing long enough to put food on the table and what he would do after high school if music couldn't work out. And then, the McClains moved in next door. They had a daughter about Chris' age, McKayla. By some, incredible miracle, McKayla ended up liking the majority of the things that Chris was interested in as well; including music and fashion sense. She absolutely adored Motley Crue, she loved to read comic books and she could even skateboard. McKayla very easily and very quickly becomes friends with Chris and his friends. However, demons of McKayla's past soon return to haunt her, and they end up affecting her friends and the ones that she loves. All of this while she finds herself catching feelings for Chris; and he, her. McKayla begins to wonder if running away from her problems is the best solution, even if it means leaving the one she loves behind. Because running away from him, just might be the only thing that keeps him safe.Complete

It's a day of celebration for the Cerulli family, and the new year marks a new beginning for them all. That is, of course, until things get complicated. What happens when Max's mom ends up face down on the floor with a bottle in her hand? What happens when Max gets in a CAR with a bottle in HER hand? Or when Chris gets a call that Riley's kidnapping case is being reopened on the same night Jack's family gets a call that Phoebe's murder case has been reopened? Or when Carlie and Riley start to get close again? Or when Jack, Riley, Max, and Emily all end up sitting in the lobby of an abortion clinic in Connecticut? Or when the fact that Riley is a lesbian suddenly becomes an issue for some of her family members? Or when someone almost jumps off a building? Life is complicated; of this, we are all aware. However, it seems like life so far for the Cerulli family is only just getting started because what lays ahead, none of them saw coming. Will they survive the drama?
