In a world populated by winged humanoids, called Avians, there's a legend that everyone knows of and most everyone believes -- There are butterflies that follow the most pure Avians around as helpful guides. Why do the butterflies do this? There are multiple theories, from ancestors of the Avians to even being sent from gods as guardian Spirits. 
However, No one really knows.. 

You may be wondering, if this is just a legend, why is it believed by most Avians?

Well the legend is true. However, as decades went by it's became a rarer sight.. 
Most of the time these butterflies started to help in secret for reasons nobody really understands. 

This story, however, is of one of those Avian guided by butterflies who hid, and how that changed..

You may still like this even if you don't like fantasy. It's more like a normalization of angelic humans. There's plenty of gay adorableness and cuddles. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. He lives with his dad that does nothing but abuse him, and he has the biggest identity crisis you'll ever see. Then he meets the gyrokenetic boy Robin. Being able to tamper with gravity, will he keep Pepper on the ground or will he float away. *WARNING* This is a boyxboy and if you aren't cool with that just don't read it. It does have some triggering stuff like abuse and i'm afraid it might be to important to just give you a warning to skip. I think that covers it. Enjoy the story.

They are all very good liars, but the question is: Can Glory keep her identity a secret? And if she accidentally reveals, what will become of the future? The bugs are willing to do whatever it takes to protect their home, so they'll go as far to exterminate any human they come across. When four teenage bugs, a moth, a yellowjacket, a butterfly, and a roly poly discover a human that stumbled into their world, they can't bring themselves to murder her. Upon knowing that the human had come alone with no memories of how she got here, the bugs have to figure out how to get her back where she came from before any bugs find out. Giving her a centipede disguise seems like the fitting idea. But things go downhill when she becomes the light of the town they live in with her human culture, and accidentally attracts the unwanted attention of the council. The four friends have to do whatever it takes to keep the human's identity hidden as they try to find her a way home. But there are some bugs out there that won't make it easy for them.
