Abby is new to the town of Meadow View and all the people in it. When abby attends Morning side Highschool, she finds herself not fitting in and wrapping herself in school work, when suddenly news out breaks of a recent murder in the small town. One of the Richest familys in town, The Magnolias, Were murdered slowly over the course of weeks, picked off one by one and never found until one is left. Leo Magnolia, the last of the Magnolias, seeks help after police drop the case, and Abby is just dying to get in on it and crack the case. As Abby works with Leo in the shadows, Tension grows stronger as they get closer, notes and clues are left to throw them off course, or are they? Will Leo and Abby crack the case? Or will they die trying.
