Two of a Kind

Matilda Black is being raised by her father, alongside her twin brother, Harry, in virtual hiding, with only them and tutors for company. When she and her brother turn fifteen, she discovers that the man who raised her is, in actuality, her godfather Sirius Black, and that they are Horcruxes, and must hunt them down.

Hunting down the Horcruxes is not too complicated, until they realize they will find Rowena Ravenclaws Diadem within Hogwarts walls. Harry ultimately falls for Severus Snape, the potions master and Head of Slytherin House, as well as Deputy Headmaster and, because the pair are betrothed, their relationship is encouraged. Meanwhile, Matilda develops feelings for Transfiguration professor and former Triwizard Tournament Winner, Cedric Diggory, and, although he is attracted to her as well, he is holding out hope to meet his own betrothed.

In the midst of this, Harry and Matilda discover that they are, in fact, Horcruxes, and must decide just how big a sacrifice they are willing to make for the Wizarding World.
