The Students of Garmadon

Aria Lord is the daughter of Empress Layla and the Overlord. She is known to her mother and the citizens of Ninjago as the unwanted princess. Unwanting to see her daughter's face, Layla sent her off to live with Lord Garmadon, who taught Aria about her father and what powers she might inherit. Garmadon eventually disappeared, and his son, her best friend, was sent to boarding school. Her mother, still unwanting to see her daughter, sent her off to live with Sensei Wu. Years pass, and after many ups and downs, Aria's father is defeated. Lord Garmadon returns to his normal self and becomes a Sensei again, but this Sensei was unfamiliar to his old student. Garmadon trains new students, including one who excels above the rest, Kai and Nya's middle sister, Reika.
