Despite her royal status, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and was respected by all who knew her.
But Princess Amelia had a secret that she had kept hidden from everyone, even her own family. She was not just a princess; she was also the lost heir to the throne of the neighboring Kingdom of Artenia.
Years ago, a terrible war had broken out between the two kingdoms, and in the chaos of battle, Princess Amelia's parents had fled with her and her older sister, Princess Isabella, to Eldoria. They had disguised themselves as commoners and started a new life in a small village, hoping to escape the violence and turmoil of their homeland.
For years, they had lived in secret, keeping their true identities hidden from everyone, even their daughters. They had never spoken of their past or the kingdom they had left behind, and Princess Amelia had grown up thinking that she was just a simple princess in a small kingdom.
But everything changed on the day that a messenger arrived in Eldoria with a letter from the King of Artenia. The letter stated that the King had fallen ill and that the only hope for the kingdom was to find the lost heir and bring her back to Artenia to rule in his place.

Ezra Beaumont, marquess of Winchester and future Duke, although thanks to his arrogance and narcissistic tendencies, he was sent to work down in the village with the local breadmaker in an attempt to humble him and make him a better person and better ruler by his parents the current Duke and Duchess of Winchester. Amelia's been trying to find her mother for as long as she can remember but all she has is a name. What neither Amelia nor Ezra knew, was that that name would connect them in a way neither would've ever imagined. She finds someone so broken under that cold exterior that she can't help but want to help him. They get thrown into a world of witches, wizards and magic and evil. They set off on a journey to become some of the most powerful witch and wizard to ever live, in order to defeat a great evil. Along the way, they recruit five other individuals each experienced in a different area of magic. Who will love and who will hate? Every mermaid is matched with an element when they are born, its not there choice but the worlds in a way, you see the mermaids tail color tells them their element and powers some are more powerful with it and other's not so much to useless. Green tails mean their element is Nature and earth, orange and yellow is light, purple is shadows, pink is wind and then there is blue for water and red for fire. But, when a princess is born with a tail holding 5 out of 6 of the elemental colors and starts getting hunted at the age of one. There was only one thing the king could do to keep his precious babygirl safe and that's what he had done. Amelia Light was adopted at the age of one. Knowing the truth she feel's that these people are her real family even if they aren't by blood. Living a normal life with a loving family and an annoying older brother, Amelia never expected her life to change in the way it did. She had grown up to love the water, she could always hold her breath for a long time and the people around her would always be filled with shock and bewilderment but, to her it was normal. At the age of 5 Amilea could hold her breath for a minute but as she gotten older it changed when she was 10 she could hold it for 5 minutes easy! Now that she is turning 16 soon she can hold it for almost and I mean almost 10 minutes. She had loved everything about it but the summer after she turned 15 some.. Difficulties happen and Amelia discovers she has a tail! A hard secret to keep, and lots of difficulties on the road ahead, will Amelia be able to get all the answer's she is looking for?
