Faires have been held as mere fairy tales, but in this tale they come to life in land of Donethe. For centuries they were driven out by a blood line of clergymen known as the Mordecals. Now the tide has turned against humanity for the last Mordecal is ailing and lacking a heir. This old bent man's blessings wax everyday allowing the myth to recede from the shadow of fantasty. Village burnings belonging to the cloak and dagger tactics of the Cathurn grip the country side. None will hear the voice crying out in the wilderness nor heed the warnings of the last man of faith. Hope arises in the form of a boy who could very well tip the scale. WIll he believe his adopted father ? or will the mystical return?
