Violet Diaz rose from a tough upbringing in Gotham. Being the youngest of two controlling sisters and only having her imprisoned father to defend her, she was alone. However, she still tended for her family because that was all she knew. 

Pursuing her fathers' past career of burglary, she brought money home to provide, though her actions were seen and her father was the consequence, facing jail time once more for his daughter's actions, though he didn't know that.

Years later, Violet adapted the persona Ione, being a thief-for-hire in Gotham. She was skilled with several fighting techniques, throwing knives and her stealthy abilities. She was on top of the world, conning her partners out of their own money so she could get more and use it for good, living by the statement "eat the rich."

Her world collides with one of Gotham's most notorious crime bosses, who everyone believes to be dead, and he wants to find her. 

Left with no other options, she reaches out to her ex boyfriend who happens to be the old sidekick to Batman, the famed Dick Grayson.

Both of them training in the process under Ras Al' Ghul. Back to Gotham. As friends, maybe more.
