Ladia community belongs to the Marwadi Baniya community. Ladia's family was doing the Diamond, Gems, and Pearls business, so their nickname was Ladia. Ladia(s) are originally from Mandawa or near by areas of Rajasthan (India) but during the 18th century, most of them migrated to different parts of India. Some rich Ladia businessmen had built their palaces (Haveli) in Mandawa.
