I Am All At Sea of Blood: Before Chainsaw Man

A decade ago, the Gun Devil rummaged through the earth in search of the Chainsaw Devil, leaving a long trail of blood and scarring the world. Many sought to avenge their fallen family and friends by becoming devil hunters and sacrificing themselves to form contracts with other devils, hoping to kill the Gun Devil eventually.

Amongst those devil hunters was Izuki Kyoukawa, who traded parts of his lifespan and identity to gain the power of healing. Unlike the other devil hunters, his contract also left him unsuitable for the battlefield, leaving him to the sidelines instead. That is... until Miss Makima summoned him to take part in a particular experiment, to live with a devil who happened to possess somebody familiar.

Author's note : For some who are wondering, this story takes place before Denji finally joins the Devil hunters, though not set explicitly as we don't know the specific ages of each character. At the very least, this would've taken place around 3 years before Denji's arrival.

What to expect :
- Story mostly revolves around the original character, Izuki and other OCs.
- Canon characters make an appearance now and then but rarely (in an attempt to fit in the established canon)
- A little bit on the slower phase side and not much emphasis on action
- Some gore-y descriptions, topics of depression along with self-harm imagery and suicidal ideation, so trigger warning on that one!
- Spoilers on Chainsawman Part 1! So please completely read that first before reading this.
