In a virtual reality entertainment universe, COSMOSIS, where most humanity spend their days since the pandemic. An average go-with-the-flow guy named, Gene, who goes by "Gary-Riple313" meets a quick witty young woman named, Eileen-Sun, who goes by "Eli2a" in the COSMOSIS, an unlikely romance blossoms between them. The two also meet in the real world, but unaware they've been talking to each other in the VR and come from different background. Which challenges Eileen's "belief about the world they live in."

Eighteen year old gamer Mato Takahara is put in a dangerous position after taking part in a failed BETA test for the world's first virtual reality MMO game(Blades in Paradise) which resulted in him gaining dual personalities due to the AI that established his connection with the game world. The AI which has now gained sentience begins to struggle against Mato for dominance over his soul.
