It has been a tale told hundreds of times throughout many cultures in our world: Cinderella. A girl suffering from a terrible trick of fate is rescued by a fair prince. Then comes her happy ending. Or at least that's what should happen. Except what happens when her fairy tale isn't all it seems, and Cinderella has to rescue not only herself but her true love as well from a tale darker than we remember?

To be updated twice a month. We all know the story of Cinderella. A young woman rescued from servitude after capturing the heart of a young prince with the help of her Fairy God Mother who had transformed her into a potential princess. What if the story was a little different? What if Cinderella was a young man who was struggling to keep himself and his family alive? What if the prince was a lonely and naive young man waiting to celebrate his birthday? What if the Fairy God Mother was a cold-hearted man with money and a plot to remove the prince from the royal line? What if this "Fairy God Mother" gives our "Cinderella" a week to take the life of the prince in exchange for a comfortable life for his family? This is a retelling of the traditional Cinderella story where our "Cinderella" is given until midnight of the prince's birthday to snuff out his light forever.
