In this story, Grey was a genious prodigy from a young age, hailing from a world just like ours, with no supernatural abilities. But some things are not what they seem. Just who is pulling the strings from the shadows?
This will differ from the Novel in some aspects as I will make some changes from the original story in order to make this more interesting. I sincerely hope you enjoy this story of mine.

Nico thought it was over. With Tessia captured, Grey defeated, and Cecilia's reincarnation complete, he believed he'd orchestrated the perfect endgame. After years of suffering, betrayal, and blind devotion to Agrona's cause, this was meant to be his reward - Cecilia reborn, standing at his side. But fate had one last twist left. After the siege on the Elf Kingdom, Nico arrived expecting triumph. Instead, he found her - Cecilia - standing not beside him, but in the arms of the one person he believed long dead. The blonde-haired man holding her was Arthur Leywin, the very soul of Grey reborn. Nico's victory had never been real.
TBATE: Let The Truth Be Known {Completed}
After slaying Cadell and discarding Nico, Arthur is confronted with his worst nightmare. Before him is Agrona and even worse, Tessia. At least he wishes it was her, but, alas, it's a different childhood friend. Unable to kill Cecilia once more and refusing to cause harm to Tessia's body, Arthur does the only thing left: he whisks Cecilia away. Now gone from the Victoriad and with Cecilia in tow, Arthur heads back to Dicathen and a new story unfolds. ~ ~ Start date: 9/12/22 ~ End date: 3/31/23 ~ ~ This is a fan fiction of the light novel series 'The Beginning After the End.'
