In May of 1929, the streets of Harlem boomed in grace every weekend with the strong voices of its inhabitants and the curation of a culture that'd inspire generations of music afterwards. (Y/N) (L/N), a jack-of-all-trades theatrist, planned to be in the dead center of that history. With talents spanning from music to theater to dancing to modeling, she was sure to grab the attention of someone that'd help her take off. However, that wasn't the case for most talented black women in Harlem.
After her most successful play earned apt feedback from the top radio stations and newspapers, her boss was found murdered in his office the same night. Now, with the help of Buccellati, a mafia capo undercover as a fashion designer, she reluctantly dives into the Italian mafia world filled with luxury, jazz, tomato delicacies, fame, and discrimination to pay back her bosses' debt with Passione. In the meantime, Buccellati promised to help further (Y/N)'s entertainment career and reveal a secret behind the strange ghost that keeps following her.
