She lets loose and does things that she would have never dreamed of doing if she wasn’t dying. But what happens when the doctors try one last drug and it ends up saving her life? California is left in an empty hospital room ready to go home and life a disease free life. But will the events from her pre-death week do more harm than good? Lily, not knowing what really happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.
