Chasing California

 When California (or Cali for short) is told she has one week left before a life threatening illness that has controlled her entire life, she decides to do all the things she’s never done. She lets loose and does things that she would have never dreamed of doing if she wasn’t dying. But what happens when the doctors try one last drug and it ends up saving her life? California is left in an empty hospital room ready to go home and life a disease free life. But will the events from her pre-death week do more harm than good? How will this affect her for the rest of her life? Better yet, who will stick around?
