So... what happens when the entirety of the United States, as well as all of its technology (including satellites), resources, cities, military bases (both domestic and abroad), American-owned companies, and citizens (both inside the US and abroad, either on vacation or active duty military) suddenly get transported back in time to the very early twelfth century, as well as to an Earth where Berk exists... as well as all of its dragons? Would we Americans just... accept it? Would we even notice? I mean... ninety percent of the time, we're all just glued to our phones, bs-ing around on social media and shit, and 99% of the internet (in America at least, obviously), including Alphabet corporation (Google and Youtube) and Microsoft (Windows, Bing, and Microsoft Edge) is owned by Americans sooo... probably not. At least not until the news gets wind of it, then things will become a minor shitshow for a bit... until we realize, we somehow still have the internet. And GPS. And all of the other benefits that come with having satellites in space. So... would we even really care? And... how does the rest of the world cope with the US's sudden disappearance? Well, this story is about finding out the answer. (Spoiler alert: We do end up caring. Especially the Hiccstrid fans. Now that's a shitshow. In addition, the rest of the world doesn't cope. Like, at all. It just ends.)
