Gwen never intended to get involved with a group of dwarves and their mission to reclaim their mountain, nor did she planned on getting attached to a certain dwarf among the group but then again she never planned on getting involved with the problems of Middle Earth, she always just happened to be in the wrong places at the right time. It didn't help that her dear friend Gandalf like to meddle in the affairs of every single person he came across and often would drag her into his adventures.
